Jaquelino Barbosa

• Jaquelino – or simply Jaq – has been part of the Qualitas AG team as a software developer since 2017.
• Jaq grew up and went to school in Cape Verde. Later he studied in Portugal and graduated in “Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Engineering“ at the Lisbon School of Engineering (ISEL).
• After his studies, he worked in Portugal for five years as a software engineer in the FinTech sector and gained first work experience. There he worked on a software for the management of the interbank network for electronic payments.
• Jaq values full-stack software development and the agile development processes at Qualitas. He uses his knowledge as PL/SQL or Java backend/frontend developer in different projects in our company.
• In his spare time Jaq likes to go jogging, in a quiet minute he also enjoys an excellent book. He also spends a lot of time with his little daughter.
• Jaq represents strong values. Absolute equal treatment regardless of nationality, ethnic origin, sexual orientation and gender are therefore very important to him.
