Adrien Butty

• Since 1 October 2019, Adrien has been working with us as a geneticist in the Department of Breeding Value Estimation. But we have known him a little longer, as he has been a trainee, M.Sc. Student or PhD Student in our offices.
• After graduating with an M.Sc. ETH in Agricultural Economics, he wrote his PhD thesis at the University of Guelph in Canada on genome sequences and variants. So we are very pleased that Adrien is back in Switzerland and part of our team now.
• In addition to the breeding value estimation, Adrien, as a native of Freiburg, enriches our skills with the best knowledge in fondue making. 😉
• Besides work, relaxation is very important to him. When he’s not traveling across Switzerland by train to visit friends, he likes to read, do sports or sing in the chorus. Singing in the chorus is not the only thing he enjoys. Adrien is always happy to help and is therefore also responsible for finances and the concert organization of the Seefeld Chamber Chorus in Zurich.
