Bruno Varela

• Bruno has been employed by Qualitas as a software developer since July 2021. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Engineering from the Lisbon School of Engineering (ISEL). After graduating, Bruno worked for several years in different companies in Portugal and the Netherlands in the field of mobile and web app development. Afterwards, his path led him to Switzerland to Qualitas. At Qualitas he was able to expand his knowledge in Java and PL/SQL development and now works mainly in this area.What Bruno likes about Qualitas is the pleasant working atmosphere and the good working conditions. Here he has the chance to develop professionally, which he appreciates very much.Bruno grew up in Cape Verde and lived there until he was 18. He then moved to Portugal, where he lived until he was hired by Qualitas. Now Bruno is based in central Switzerland. Part of his family lives in the French part of Switzerland, and he visits them regularly in his free time. He also enjoys walking and jogging, or he relaxes by watching TV. He is particularly fond of movies, series and documentaries.
