Special knowledge:

Due to my background in agriculture, I know well the processes in animal husbandry. I also know the old processes in our EDP well (e.g. MPV, data processing TVD, insemination import K10). Due to my long period of employment, I have already been involved in many programmes and therefore know quickly where to start in case of problems or innovations. Initially, I was deployed in the entire range of IT at Braunvieh Switzerland (Windows network, Oracle database, PowerBuilder application (responsible), BTA printing system (responsible)).

Since 2003, I have been able to live my childhood dream: together with Thomas Meier, I run the agricultural business of the Frauenthal monastery, where I grew up. For this reason, I am only employed at Qualitas AG on a reduced workload. I appreciate the cooperation in a great team and the great flexibility in organising my working hours, which makes this employment possible. Due to my reduced workload, however, my field of activity has been increasingly limited to solving PL/SQL problems and projects in recent years.

Besides working on the farm and in front of the computer, I love spending time with my family (with my wife Carmen and our three daughters: Céline (13), Sarina (11) and Lorena (9)) or skiing, playing volleyball or playing cards. I am also never averse to a poker game among colleagues. I am also a member of the board of the seed breeding cooperative, the Landi and the soil improvement cooperative.
