In our series “Who is…?”<\/strong> we introduce you to our team. This time it’s all about project management.<\/p>\n

Anke Schorr<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div>

  • Anke joined the Business Analysis and Project Management team in March 2020. She studied theoretical physics (diploma, ETH) and comparative literature (Uni T\u00fcbingen) and later did a PhD in mathematics (ETH). During her career in the financial industry, she completed an additional training in financial analysis.<\/li>\n
  • For more than 15 years Anke worked in software development in the financial industry. However, the most influential step for her current professional life was a one-year sabbatical, during which she got to know Mongolia and thus livestock farming, among other things. There, with a population of 3 million, over 50 million farm animals are kept. Afterwards, Anke worked in farm management at Agroscope. Her knowledge of agriculture comes from her work at Agroscope as well as from practical experience, and her partner also runs a farm.<\/li>\n
  • Anke’s main task at Qualitas is to support various project customers. At the moment, these are customers who work with health data in various ways – on calves, pigs and cattle. The customer support also includes taking new requirements that the customers have for the software. The analysis and description of requirements that finally goes to the software developers usually includes very technical components.<\/li>\n
  • Based on her experience so far, Qualitas is small enough to still be “like a big family.” The tasks within the project management and business analysis department are very diverse and Anke appreciates that she learns a lot, for example, when she receives requests from potential new projects.She appreciates the flexibility of Qualitas, for example in dealing with remote working.<\/li>\n
  • Anke’s great passion is yaks. In winter she offers yak trekking with her partner, in summer she rather does tracking of her partner’s yak herd on the Gemsstock (when the alptracker is down) or she keeps the trekking yaks in good mood so that they don’t get shy of people. Anke lives in Andermatt, so behind the house she can actually stand directly in the mountains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
