Beat Bapst<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

  • Since Qualitas was founded, Beat has been involved in the area of breeding value estimation as a geneticist. His main focus is the implementation and further development of breeding value estimation for small ruminants and project work.<\/li>\n
  • Before 2011 Beat worked in the same position at Braunvieh Schweiz, before that he was at FiBL (Research Institute of Organic Agriculture). In addition, he is responsible for the management of the Swiss Association for Animal Sciences (SVT) and is part of the organization team for the annual meeting of the European Association for Animal Sciences (EAAP), which will take place in Davos in 2021.<\/li>\n
  • He received his Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH).<\/li>\n
  • Beat lives on Lake Zurich. When the weather is not too bad, he rides his racing bike to work over the Hirzel. Together with some of his colleagues, he competes to see who can put more kilometers per year on the road to work by racing bicycle. Unfortunately, meters in altitude are not included in the calculation…<\/li>\n
  • Sport is also important to him in his free time. Here his activities are extended to mountain biking and ski touring. Reading, whether it is the daily newspaper or a Zurich thriller by Petra Ivanov, serves him as relaxation. To ensure that the food he prepares for sport tastes delicious, cooking is another of his hobbies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
